Crafting on The Cape Policies
Cancellation Policy
We offer refunds for registration and classes according to the schedule below. Because we prepay non-refundable costs to the venue and other partners, refunds are limited after certain deadlines.
All refunds are issued as store credit to shurkus.com/shop, which can be used toward future registrations, products, or anything else in the shop.
You’re also welcome to give or sell your registration or class tickets to a friend. See the transfer guidelines below, and be sure to email us the details.

NO EXCEPTIONS
If Crafting on the Cape is canceled due to fire, flood, accident, strike, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, or any other cause beyond our control, we reserve the right to apply your registration and class fees to the next Crafting on the Cape event.
*Transaction fees: Crafting on the Cape processes payments through PayPal and Stripe. These companies no longer refund the transaction fees they charge sellers, so we deduct this fee from any refund. Fees vary and are higher for payments from outside the U.S. For more details, see PayPal’s user agreement.
Transferring a registration or class ticket:
- Let us know the details of the transfer by March 1, 2027.
- Seating requests can’t be changed. The person receiving your registration will take the seat assigned to you.
Registration Policy
Each attendee may hold only one registration. You’re welcome to register yourself and your friends, but each person is limited to one seat. For example, if you purchase extra seats to save space for yourself, we will cancel the extra seat(s). As noted in our FAQ, our goal is to let as many people as possible attend and enjoy the event.
Visitor Policy
The crafting room and classrooms are for registered attendees only. Family, friends, and children may visit briefly but cannot stay for extended periods.
Non-attendees are welcome to shop our vendors! Be sure to stop by the registration desk to say hello. Most vendors are open:
- Thursday: 6–10 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
